What will the passage of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) mean for households and employers? Over the coming months, there should be stories about how the final regulations will be determined. Also many states will start setting up their insurance exchanges. What will these changes mean for individuals and employers? Will companies start changing incentives for their employees and health care providers?

Increased Cost of Administration, and a role for MBAs.
Selfishly , as someone who has practiced in healthcare for 9 years, a motivator for my enrollment in the MBA program was to hope to better understand the financial impact of healthcare decisions and policy.
Frankly, these are exciting times to demonstrate value as a performer as opportunities to capture higher margins on profitable service lines- and to limit the costs and losses for non-profit lines, is good timing for professional growth.
