Incentives of tax credit for small business leading to increases for insurability of small business employees....will the stick of $2000 for every uninsured employee be enough for employers to keep their existing plans?
delayed response: but the take away for me was the importance of incentivizing employers with tax deductions to drive the behavior to cover their employees.
ReplyDeleteUltimately: Companies offer health benefits to attract an employee target. If they can sell the total benefit package of compensation for the position (including benefits) while having part of that compensation directly subsidized- lower cost to the employer can be realized- and a larger candidate pool can be attracted.
